ESPN anchor Elle Duncan recalled meeting Bryant backstage at an event in New York and bonding with him over the role of a father to daughters. The sentiment resonated with fans. Vanessa Bryant sat down with her daughters on August 23, and shared a touching photo of Kobe cradling them with his arms. The picture also features his three older daughters, Capri, Bianka, and the late Gianna. The post was soon followed by comments from celebrities like Ciara, Dwyane Wade, and others. Fans were quick to comment with strings of red hearts. Kobe was overwhelmed with emotion and was ready to talk about his daughters.

The moment the two became parents was truly magical. The NBA star was pregnant with their fourth child, and they had met two years before.
